Dear Customer
I would like to start out by giving you a little information about myself and my experience in the Lawn care and Tree & Shrub Industry. I have over 20 years of experience and 10 years with the largest lawn fertilization company in the United States. I have learned how to diagnose any problems that hamper St. Augustine and Bermuda lawns.
I decided to go out on my own and pursue my dreams of owning my own business. I have come to learn over the years what it takes to keep the customer happy, "Give results without excuses and be up front and honest."
Thanks,
Romy & Rhonda Robinson, Owners
About Romy
I was raised by my grandparents, Evelyn and Lee Robinson in the small town of Louise, TX (I mean small, my graduating class was 28 kids!). I worked in the rice fields in the summers for money, from sun up to sun down, for $20 per day (farmers are WELL underpaid, I must say!). My grandma would always tell me, “work hard, do good, and treat people the way you want to be treated, and good things will happen to you.”
I moved to the big city for work and more money- and to see what the big city was all about. In 1988, I was given the opportunity to work for two of the largest lawn care companies in the United States- not realizing that I would one day start my own service. I worked in sales and would volunteer to be a lawn technician (the guy that who treats the lawn) and also aerate. This was kind of unusual for a salesman to volunteer to go out and aerate and treat lawns due to the salesman being inside where the air conditioning was.
I’ve never been shy of hard work.
I would look at 30-60 lawns per day. Diagnosing problems and resolving them became a passion for me. I especially enjoy letting the customer know what caused the problem and how to get it back in shape, spending the least amount of time, money, and effort.
To see a customer happy and smiling due to my advice is a very satisfying feeling for me.
I started my own business treating and caring for lawns in 2003 and have been continuing to heed my grandmother’s advice.
